Salient General Features of The Hospital

1. The hospital rooms are well ventilated, lighted and are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
2. The hospital has Iron-spring beds for patients which includes fully followed, semi -followed and others.
3. The hospital has eight properly equipped operation theatre with a sterilization room with auto clave and ETO etc.
4. The hospital has one labour room with delivery table, suction machine and shadow light for providing medical services for maternity cases.
5. Aseptic conditions are maintained in the operation theatre and the labour room by carbolizing and fumigating.
6. The hospital provide separate nursing station for each floor for the nurses on duty.
7. The hospital has sufficient space for storage of medicines, food articles, equipments etc.
8. The hospital provides filtered drinking water with Aqua Guard Water purifier.
9. The hospital has isolation room for isolating septic and infectious patients.
10. The hospital provides and maintains:
    • High pressure sterilizer and instrument sterilizer.
    • Bank of Oxygen with centralized oxygen supply system and B type portable oxygen cylinders with necessary attachments.
    • Adequate surgical equipments, instruments and apparatus including intravenous apparatus.
    • A pathological laboratory for testing of Blood, Urine and Stool. Laboratory is equipped with RA-50, Mini Vidas fully automatic immunoassay and blood cell counter etc.
    • Electro-cardiogram monitoring system.
    • Stand-by generator for use in case of power-failure.
11. The hospital has seventy patients beds which includes thirty beds of the day care center of Eye Wing. In the eye wing patients are admitted in the morning and discharged on same day after surgery. General Wing always has two qualified doctors available on duty around the clock.
12. The hospital has thirty qualified staff nurses. The nurses are doing their duties in three shifts around the clock.
13. The hospital maintains record of health of every patient containing information about the patients name, address, occupation, sex, age, date of admission, date of discharge, diagnosis of disease and treatment undertaken.
